Required materials:

1. White and red yarn, 3 m each (1 g);

2. Two-colour cord (white and red) 50 cm;

3. Template (10 cm X 4 cm);

4. Scissors.

Cut a template similar to that in picture 2. The length of the tassel depends on what length you have chosen (in our case it is 8 cm).
Cut about 15 cm from either yarn (they are needed for shaping a ‘head’ of the tassel). Wind the red yarn around the template. Thread the two-colour cord through the upper end and knot it (picture 4), and cut the other end of the yarn with scissors (picture 5). Take the white yarn and shape a ‘head’. Repeat the same actions with the white yarn. Finally shape and even out the tassels with the scissors.
